Psychology

ASSESSMENTS, REPORTS,
CONSULTATION AND EXPERT TESTIMONY
Dr.
Gordon Cochrane, R. Psych.
Dr. Cochrane
has over 25 years of clinical experience and he has taught psychotherapy
skills to Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Family Physicians and Graduate
Students for over 20 years. He has provided psychological assessments,
reports, consultation and expert testimony for 18 years. He
believes that psychotherapists should conduct their art of psychotherapy
with support from scientific research but, when the focus shifts
from the therapy process to the legal process, science must take
precedence over art. Because legal proceedings have lasting impact
on the parties involved, justice requires that the psychology in
question be based upon credible science.
